Simon Hall is an artist/designer based in Barcelona.
In a 30 year career in arts he has been involved in creating work for many well established artists and designers including Ron Arad, Thomas Heatherwick, Zaha Hadid and Anish Kapoor.
In this time he has developed a wide understanding of the materials needed to accomplish these artworks and designs.
He has worked as a freelance artist for film, television and theatre finally ending with an 8 year period at the Royal opera house. Inspired by his stay in Barcelona he decided to embark on a new life, moving to the Catalan capital and focusing on the development of his own sculptural designs.
Feeling culturally enriched with a rejuvenated zeal and embracing the intense need to create, he has developed a series of complex sculptural lamps encompassing his love of the natural world with intricate, fascinating textures and vibrant colours.
His work can take as long as 9 months to complete and is all hand made by the artist.
Simon is currently creating new works and is exhibiting in France.
